His particular area of expertise is in the area of valuing and advisory of sub $10 million commercial, industrial and retail properties, as well as specialising in rental determinations and representation for both Lessors and Lessees alike, as well as the REIV and Small Business Commission.

Jim commenced his career at Arthur Andersen in the area of Valuation and Advisory services specialising in commercial real estate throughout Metropolitan Melbourne. On becoming a Certified Practising Valuer at Domain Property Valuers, a boutique valuation firm specialising in mortgage valuations, Jim developed a fundamental working knowledge of the commercial, industrial and retail real estate markets in Melbourne.
As a Director of FVG, Jim undertakes and supervises a wide variety of valuations and consultancy assignments with a particular emphasis on commercial real estate property and rental determination/advisory representation.
Carl began his career in real estate being a Buyer’s Agent in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne prior to attaining his Master of Property. He then commenced his career as an Assistant Valuer at FVG specialising in residential, commercial, industrial and retail properties sub $10 million throughout Metropolitan Melbourne.
After successfully achieving his Residential Property Valuer with the Australian Property Institute in 2020, Carl continues to gain knowledge within the commercial real estate segment to achieve his next goal of becoming a Certified Practising Valuer.
Academic Background and Affiliations:
In her role as an Assistant Valuer, Jackie is assisting with valuations of residential and commercial properties throughout Metropolitan Melbourne. Her passion for property valuation has motivated her to attain the necessary experience to gain the status of Residential Property Valuer in the short term.
